Here for sale is a good 10’ Ft. / 120” John Deere 1008 Rotary Cutter Bush Hog. This 1008 is a standard 540 RPM PTO pull type drag cutter. This good original 10 Foot bush hog has a lot of new parts but after they were installed this spring then this summer the left gear box splines are now bad so it needs that now. The farmer since he is 80 decided to just go ahead and get a new 8’ cutter since that was a better size for his reduced acres now. He also noted this cutter mowed great. His brother was always saying how much better this 1008 cutter was than the one he owned and how better the fields looked compared to his. The recent new parts included a new drive shaft this spring and a new hydraulic cylinder. All the hoses are good and one of the two is like new the other still has all the rubber coating on it. This is a good, solid old school built cutter one of the better ones John Deere made. The deck is solid too. U.S. Delivery available from TN for just $.85 mile one-way if over 500 miles.
