| John Deere 3x4 Large Square Baler – Wide Pickup, Mass Flow, Moisture Sensing, BalerAssist This John Deere 3x4 large square baler is equipped with key productivity features designed for commercial hay operations looking for reliability, bale consistency, and operator convenience. Built with the Wide Pickup Reel – Level 4, this baler is designed to gather wider windrows with smooth crop flow and reduced leaf loss for improved bale quality. Equipped with Mass Flow sensing and a Moisture Sensor, this unit provides accurate bale monitoring so operators can maintain consistent bale density and make smarter storage and transport decisions. The Electronic Trip system ensures precise bale formation and reliable tying cycles. This baler is configured as a Wide Non-PreCutter model—ideal for producers who prefer traditional long-stem bales without the chopping system. It is built without preservative equipment, giving buyers the option to add their preferred aftermarket system if desired. The machine includes BalerAssist, one of John Deere’s most operator-friendly features, which allows the baler’s hydraulics and knotters to be controlled from the rear of the machine—making it much easier to clear plugs, perform daily maintenance, or rethread twine. For reduced maintenance time, the Automatic Grease System with Fast-Fill ensures key components stay properly lubricated with minimal operator intervention. Riding on Tandem Axle Tires (550/45-22.5), this baler delivers excellent flotation in the field and smoother transport. This unit includes the 1-3/4” 20-spline PTO, and comes as a 3x4 tandem axle baler with no brakes, depending on tractor braking for transport controL.
