| The Hay Special variant of the New Holland Roll‑Belt™ 460 is tailored for dry-hay producers. It features a wide pickup, standard-density control, and both net and twine wrapping—making it a reliable, efficient choice for cutting hay-to-bale operations where moisture levels are low. Wide (ActiveSweep™ standard-duty) pickup with up to ~79‑inch flare‑to‑flare width. Ideal for clean, consistent gathering of hay windrows. No onboard rotor, relying on the pickup and floor rolls for smooth crop flow—perfect for dry hay loads Dual twine arms with automatic electric control and 6 active/two storage balls plus EdgeWrap™ net wrap, offering both tying options for flexibility and bale integrity. Creates round bales up to 4 × 6 ft (46.5″ wide, up to 72″ diameter) Bale weights typically between ~400 lb and ~2,300 lb depending on crop type and density, Requires minimum 70 hp on the PTO and supports either 540 or 1,000 rpm PTO speeds. Equipped with standard driveline protection including cut-out or slip clutches. |
