Description
| The John Deere 975 Reversible Plow is designed for efficient primary tillage, offering features that enhance durability and ease of use. Key specifications include: Configurations: Available with 3, 4, or 5 bottoms, accommodating various field sizes and tractor capacities. DEERE.AFRICA Moldboard Design: Features a single set of bottoms with a moldboard frame that pivots with the bottoms. This design allows the moldboards to be reversed laterally by a standard hydraulic cylinder, reducing the need for additional 3-point hitch capacity and simplifying maintenance. Hitch System: Equipped with an integral in-furrow hitch, the 975 plow offers excellent maneuverability during turns and when parking in confined spaces. It's compatible with tractors equipped with a Category 3/3N Quik-Coupler system, and the tractor's rockshaft lever controls the plow's raising and lowering. The maximum plowing depth is 14 inches (356 mm). Gauge Wheels: Comes standard with rear gauge wheels fitted with 6.70-15 tires, providing good flotation. Adjustable front gauge wheels limit the plowing depth to 14 inches (356 mm). Construction: Built with a high-strength V-style mainframe that distributes weight effectively for optimal soil penetration.
