Description
| Here is a very good running antique Ford 2N tractor. Runs and starts well. It has a Ford 4-Cylinder Gasoline Engine. The tractor was rated 26 HP with capacity to pull a 2-Bottom Plow. It can operate a 5’ bush hog rotary cutter too. Our Service Dept. did a Full Service including an engine oil change and all new filters: engine, hydraulic, air and fuel filters all new along with a final inspection and ignition tune up. Note: now while parked in our shop the 2N just developed a rear main seal leak. Our service department can split the tractor and fix it putting in a new seal for $670. We originally had the tractor priced at $2,800 and that's why it is now at just $2,100. More Ford 2N Specifications: *26 HP Gasoline *2WD 4x2 *Manual Standard Steering *3 Forward / 1 Reverse Gear Transmission *Ford 4-Cylinder 26 HP Gas Engine History: This 2N was manufactured during the last year of World War II, so it has a deep historical connection. The Ford 2N was a variation on the 9N introduced due to the war. By designating a new model, Ford was able bypass wartime restrictions on price. The 2N has some component changes due to wartime shortages. The battery and alternator were eliminated and replaced with a magneto and hand-crank start. Also, steel wheels became standard equipment. U.S. Delivery available from TN for just $.85 mile one-way if over 500 miles. Local / regional delivery $1-$3 per mile one-way. IMPLEMENTS: We have new implements (and some used) including rotary cutter bush hogs, box blades, disc harrows, spreaders, post hole diggers and more. Backhoes start at $5,900 new for a 3-Point model PTO hydraulic pump driven. We will consider trades of tractors, construction equipment, dozers, skid loaders, utv's. |
