This is a Dominoni brand Direct Cut Head model MPD 760 and it is 25 feet wide. It is used for cover crops, cereal grains, barley, oats, wheat, as well as drought corn, milo/sorghum, alfalfa, and other grasses.  It is well known for its large feeding drum that ensures a smooth feed at high speeds and can outperform any other direct cut head on the market today. This head has a floating frame with wheels on bearings. It is a solid frame with the auger bed being wear-resistant steel. Its big feeding channel is hydraulically adjustable from the driver's seat. The head can cut very close to the ground. Simplicity, Reliability and Strength are the main qualities of this direct cut header.

This product offers an efficient solution for your harvesting needs, designed to seamlessly integrate with your existing forage harvester. The installation process is straightforward, ensuring minimal downtime and ease of use.

Installations:

• Quick Coupler Connection: The product is designed to hook up directly to the feed house frame of your forage harvester.
• Hydraulic Hose Attachment: Once the product is mounted to the feed house frame, the next step is to attach the hydraulic hoses. These hoses are crucial for powering the necessary functions of the product, ensuring smooth operation during use.

Direct cut your rye. Spray your rye before cutting it down, and control when you cut your rye with RoundUp. This saves you money in your harvest operation. (After spraying your rye with RoundUp, wait 30 hours before harvesting it.)

25-foot heads have 3 cutter bars, each holds 2.25 liters or .6 gallons – oil type is SAE 80W90 EP (extreme pressure)

This head will fit John Deere® 8000 and 9000 series forage harvesters. Made with a Kuhn® cutter bar.
