So for example most 5’ tractors can probably handle a 6’ box blade for normal tasks. 7’ / 84” Box Blades would have a minimum 40-45 HP rating and are usually put on 40-65 HP tractors. 8’ or 96” Box Blades are recommend for 55-100 HP tractors that are 7-8’ wide. 55 HP minimum on 4x4 tractors, 60-65 HP minimum if 2WD on normal dirt, gravel conditions.
