Christiansen Implement is a family owned John Deere dealership with points in Burley, Twin Falls and American Falls, Idaho.
Christiansen Implement began its affiliation with John Deere in 1962 in Aberdeen Idaho. Originally the Christiansen’s were dealers for another manufacturer. After a fire in 1961 that consumed the business and most of their hope they were grateful to become a John Deere dealer.
From 1962 until 1973 the business operated out of Behlen building in Aberdeen Idaho on highway 39. Jim Christiansen was salesman, parts man, and setup guy with help from 2 or 3 mechanics. Times were different then. In 1973 John Deere was anxious to consolidate, that lead to Jim buying the dealership in American Falls (12 miles away). He built a new building and began to work the area. John Hoybjerg, Jim’s son in law, joined the business in 1977 and assumed managerial responsibilities.
In 1993 the Christiansen’s bought the Burley store and Joey Christiansen became manager. The Christiansen’s love their working relationships with the farmers of Idaho. The Christiansen’s also value their relationship with John Deere and recognize John Deere as the premier manufacturer. John Deere’s products, parts availability, and support are the best in the business. They look forward to meeting you and establishing new business relationships. Read MorePrimary Contact
