Hitchcock, Inc. was started in 1961, which was known then as Burlington Manufacturing, by Kenneth Hitchcock. He designed and built his own sugar beet equipment. It was mostly a winter time production period until 1968, when it was moved to town in a new 7200 sq. ft. building. At that time, Kenneth’s two sons, Royce and Duane, were put in charge of manufacturing. Kenneth stayed with his farming and designing of new equipment.

In 1975, we were out of room and we added another 9,000 sq. ft. of production area. That worked until 1979, when we added another 9,720 sq. ft. and again in 1981 another 3,710 sq. ft. In 2001, we added our latest addition of 11,600 sq. ft. Today, we work out of a 41,230 sq. ft. facility.

We manufacture truck boxes, dump trailers, chain drags, bunk blowers, boom backs, and numerous other production items plus all kinds of custom built products. We also stretch trucks and mount truck beds and hoists.

We pride ourselves in originality, workmanship, and innovation. Today, we have products all over the globe.
