J&D’s Split Rail System provides exceptional flexibility for freestall installation, enabling precise loop positioning to enhance cow comfort. Each rail can be mounted independently at any height to align with the on-center spacing of your selected loop, accommodating variations in stall layout and animal size. Made from heavy-gauge, corrosion-resistant materials, this system is compatible with all sizes of J&D’s Ironside, Relax Fit, and Dog Bone loops, eliminating the need for specialized loop brackets. Each loop is secured with two 2-3/8” universal loop brackets, making the Split Rail System one of the most adaptable, installer-friendly, and cost-effective solutions for freestalls available. Universal loop brackets fit the top and bottom of the following 2-3/8” loops, regardless of the loop height: - Ironside Loops - Relax Fit Loops - Dog Bone Loops These loops are suspended from 3” x 3” split rails that can be mounted to building columns or up-posts. This stall system remains high and dry, ensuring corrosion resistance and a longer lifespan. All concrete work can be completed without obstructions, which saves you money on labor and installation costs. There are no stall posts in the bedding to rust or corrode, providing increased side-to-side headroom and lunge area. Additionally, this system is compatible with any bedding system.
