Shred Select is a stalk-roll / residue‐management system for corn headers, designed to improve the way corn stalks are handled during harvest. It’s offered as part of OEM heads (like Vence Tudo) The rolls are set up with different diameters or speeds so that the tips move at different velocities. This differential (relative) speed helps tear, crack, or shatter stalks, rather than simply slicing them uniformly. There are rotary knives that are adjustable, allowing the user to change how the stalks are processed: either more “sliced” or more “linked” (i.e. leaving longer sections of stalk tied together) depending on what residue management goal you have.
