Custom Seed Cleaning

Teeter Farm & Seed Company offers custom seed cleaning to help you reach your crop's optimum potential.  We can accommodate everything from dump trailers to gravity wagons with our tractor trailer scales and high-speed drive over dump pits.  Call John or Jim to discuss your seed cleaning needs or to schedule a delivery appointment.

Clean

Our Clipper Cleaner and LMC Gravity Table remove mechanical and environmental damage, plant debris and diseased kernels to provide high quality uniform seed for optimal germination.

Treat

Our treating equipment can apply insecticide for aphid control to prevent barley yellow dwarf in wheat and barley seed, as well as, weevil control to allow long-term storage.  Fungicide application optimizes germination under adverse weather conditions.  

Bag & Store

We offer paper bagging, bulk bagging or bulk loadout for your convenience.  Storage is available in our 40,000 square feet of  warehouse space ready for pick up at planting season.  

Germination and Seed Count Laboratory tests conducted on every seed lot.

Teeter Farm and Seed Company has been producing, cleaning and processing seed quality grains for over 35 years, and understands what it takes to supply a premium product. We have experience cleaning Non-GMO and Heirloom Corn, Wheat, Barley, Oats and Rye for craft distillers and craft maltsters.

New customers are surprised by what professional cleaning can do for the quality and consistency of the grains they use. In our facility we can remove pieces of cob, stalk, insects, dirt and dust with our air screen cleaner. Using a gravity table as a secondary process, we are able float out undeveloped, weather damaged and diseased kernels. Our complete system ensures the grain you receive is clean and consistent and the total volume is fermentable product. Along with providing bulk grain, we can package in supersacks and paper bags and store grain until needed if you are unable to receive in truckload quantities. From receiving through shipping, everything is weighed on state certified scales to guarantee you receive the product you paid for.
